Bed on Tour

Bed on Tour

Travelling installation: an older woman, a bed, and stories that come back to haunt. Bed will be popping up around the south of England this summer.

Maybe all families have hidden secrets. In the space between waking and sleep, moments from the past come back to haunt an older woman.  Bed is a nomadic street event performed by a seventy-year old originally in an around the streets of Deptford. Devised by members of Entelechy’s elders company.

‘Sometimes you’ve got to take risks for the unknown. You don’t know what you are going into but you’ve got to take that risk.’ – Gwen Sewell, Entelechy Elders Company.
